Overlay · coming soon

Change your website by leaving a comment.

Point at anything on your live site and say what should change. An agent finds the field in Storyblok, WordPress or Drupal and makes the edit, and the change stays marked on the page until someone reviews it.

What happens after you comment

The overlay loads only while you're signed in to edit. Your visitors' browsers never load it.

  1. Point at it

Click the part of the page that should change, a headline, a photo or a whole section, and say what you want the way you'd tell a colleague. Or edit the words right on the page.

  2. The agent finds the field

It works out which story, post or node holds the text and which field inside it, then writes the change to your CMS. If your comment is unclear, it asks back in the thread.

  3. The page updates in place

No reload. The pin shows where things stand: open, being worked on, waiting for your answer, or done.

  4. You decide

On Storyblok the edit waits as a draft until you publish the page. On WordPress and Drupal, a change to a published page goes live right away, so there you keep it or press Revert.

Your agent, ours or a colleague

Each comment goes where you send it.

topic's agent

Works the comment queue on its own, with nobody watching. It runs on Claude Haiku by default.

Your own agent

Claude or ChatGPT picks your comments up through topic's MCP server. Say “work my comments” in the chat.

A teammate

Leave the comment for a person. It stays pinned to the page until someone resolves it.

Fast, and you stay in charge

An agent working on your live website has to be careful, so every change it makes stays visible.

Every change stays marked

Changes topic's agents made stay outlined until someone reviews them, including ones no comment asked for.

It asks instead of guessing

When a comment could mean two things, the agent asks in the thread and waits for your answer.

Undo, with history

Every write is recorded with how to take it back. Revert one change, or that change and everything after it.

Theme changes go to a branch

When a comment is about the theme rather than the content, the agent commits its change to a branch for your developers.

Questions

Do my visitors notice anything?

No. Their browsers never load the overlay.

What does my site need?

On Storyblok, nothing: the overlay runs in the Visual Editor. On WordPress, topic's plugins mark where each text comes from. On Drupal, your theme marks which node and field a block comes from. We'll ship a module for that.

Which CMSs does it work with?

Storyblok, WordPress and Drupal. Your content stays where it is, and topic doesn't change your content model.

When can I use it?

We don't have a date yet. Sign up below and we'll email you when the first version is ready to use.
